Furio Belli, violinist, born in Trieste in 1968, began studying the violin with his father and then graduated with full marks at the “G. Tartini "in Trieste under the guidance of A. Vattimo in 1989. In the same year he was recommended by the direction of his Conservatory and was invited to participate in the Rai program" Armonie circa al lago ", reserved for the best students of the Conservatories. Winner of the second prize at the Farra d'Isonzo International Competition for young concert students in 1984, he then obtained a diploma of merit in 1987. He participated as a performer in Trieste in International Seminars of musical interpretation with: Angelo Stefanato, Trio Lorenz, Stefan Gheorghiu, Giuliano Carmignola and Franco Gulli. He obtained the Diploma of Specialization and Instrumental Teaching after having attended the "Specialization Course and Instrumental Teaching" for musicians in the years 1990, 1991 and 1992, established by the Giuliani Musicians Association of Trieste, passing all the admission and eligibility exams, under the guide of Giuliano Carmignola and Federico Agostini. He concluded the two-year specialization course of the "Special Violin Course" with Maestro Renato Zanettovich in Fiesole. He studied at the Trio di Trieste International Chamber Music Higher School in Duino. He attended the Postgraduate course for orchestra musicians organized by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region - Regional Directorate of Professional Training managed by the Giuliani Musicians Association. He was first violin on the shoulder and soloist of the "F. Busoni" Chamber Orchestra of Trieste from 1987 to 1996, participating in important concerts and numerous radio recordings as a soloist at Rai in the program "La Musica nella Regione". As first violin and soloist of the chamber orchestra "I Cameristi Triestini" he participated in concerts and toured in Italy and abroad in the years 1992 and 1993. He held the role of concertino of the first violins and later of the first of the second at the chamber orchestra of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Always as the first of the latter with the chamber orchestra "Laboratorio Ensemble" and with the "New F. Busoni Chamber Orchestra" of Trieste. From 1993 to 1996 he collaborated with "I Virtuosi dell’Ensemble" in Venice playing in the prestigious Church of the Pietà in Venice where Antonio Vivaldi worked and taking part in a tour in Brazil.

He has carried out and carries out chamber music activities in violin and piano duo. He has always recorded in duo for Rai and Radio Koper / Capodistria. In the years 1998/99 and 1999/2000 he lectured and co-taught in the regional ENFAP courses called "Professor of Orchestra on the classical, romantic, modern and contemporary repertoire". From 2000 to 2008 he was a collaborator of the “G.Tartini” Conservatory of Trieste as the first of the second violins in the orchestral practice class. He has collaborated with the "Filarmonica di Udine" symphony orchestra and with the orchestra of the "G. Verdi ”in Trieste. From 2000 to 2009 he was permanently part of the Friuli Venezia Giulia symphony orchestra taking part in the realization of all the CDs recorded by the orchestra as well as in the most important concerts including the one held in the prestigious hall of the "Musikverein" in Vienna and the concert at the “Teatro Arcimboldi” in Milan for the La Scala season. He was part of the "Mitteleuropea" symphony orchestra and currently plays in the "New F. Busoni chamber orchestra". In 2007 he obtained the II level academic diploma in "Didactics of Instrumental Music" at the conservatory "G. Tartini ”of Trieste. At the same in 2008 and always with the highest marks he then obtained the II level academic diploma in "Training of violin teachers". From 1998 to 2009 he taught violin at the Popular University of Trieste. Since 1989 he has been teaching as a violin teacher at the State Middle Schools with a musical focus in the Region (Staranzano, Sacile, Pordenone and Trieste), passing in 2011 in a role at the State Middle School with a musical focus "L. Stock ”in Trieste where he is still a teacher. He has played in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Hungary, Russia, Brazil and Tunisia.

He undertook the study of the violin with his father, continuing then with Bruno Polli. He graduated with full marks and honors under the guidance of Renato Zanettovich at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice. He attended the courses of specialization in Fiesole with the Trio of Trieste and Piero Farulli, and at the Academy Chigiana di Siena with Henryk Szeryng. He was a pupil of Salvatore for two years Accardo at the "W. Stauffer" Academy of Higher Specialization in Cremona

Award winning in numerous national and international competitions, he made his sixteen-year-old debut at the theater Politeama Rossetti of Trieste for the Society of Concerts; later he played from soloist and directed, in the most important halls throughout Europe, former Soviet Union, Turkey Mexico and South America. He has performed the main concerts of the repertoire violinist accompanied by important orchestras and was first violin on the shoulder by the Italian Youth Orchestra, by the Busoni Orchestra, by the Haydn Philarmonia and first violin and director of the Virtuosi of the Venice Ensemble.

The composer from Trieste Giulio Viozzi dedicated the piece “Tema variato” to Massimo Belli for solo violin published by Pizzicato. He recorded for Italian and Soviet radio and TV, German, Yugoslav, Brazilian, Austrian, and recorded for Sipario Dischi, Nuova Era and Tirreno Editoriale of Lugano. He currently records for Concerto Classics, Brilliant Classics and Warner Classics. He studied conducting with Aldo Belli and Julian Kovatchev and is the conductor of the New “Ferruccio Busoni” chamber orchestra.

He is violin professor at the Trieste Conservatory. He taught at the World College Kingdom of the Adriatic, at the summer courses in Solighetto, at the International Courses in Cividale del Friuli and held Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatory of Murcia (Spain), Mannheim Hoochschule, Tallin Academy, Minsk Belarusian Academy e Sarajevo Music Academy. In 2002, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the competition, he conducted the orchestra of 40th formed by the winners of the past editions of the National Violin Competition City of Vittorio Veneto. Recently he directed I Cameristi del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Euro Sinfonietta Wien, the Calabrian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra. In April 2023 he will conduct the North Czech Philarmonic orchestra at the Smetana Hall in Prague. The incision was made in October 2021 record for Brilliant Classics of music by Viotti and Cherubini with the violinist Massimo Quarta.

He graduated in violin at the Tartini Conservatory of Trieste. He perfected himself with M. Domenico Nordio and M. Massimo Belli. He plays at the following orchestras: orchestra of Padua and Veneto, regional orchestra of Emilia-Romagna Arturo Toscanini, orchestra of the Carlo Felice theater in Genoa, Orchestra of the G. Verdi theater in Trieste. He carries out an intense activity with various national chamber orchestras including the "new F. Busoni chamber orchestra" of Trieste. He has been a member of the Venetian Rondò group for over a decade. Since 2004 he has been playing with the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional symphony orchestra, formerly MittelEuropa orchestra, today the Musical and Symphonic Institution of the FVG. Winner in 2019 of the international competition for orchestra professor of the Musical and Symphonic Institution of the FVG. He usually plays in duo with accordionist Goran Ruzzier. He also graduated with full marks in instrument teaching and qualified to teach at state schools. Already winner of the 2016 ordinary competition for teaching violin instrument in secondary schools. Winner of the 2018 extraordinary competition for teaching violin instrument in secondary schools and violin instrument for teaching in lower secondary schools. Winner of the 2020 extraordinary competition for teaching in lower secondary schools, music class.
